Start and Secure the sewage wastetreatment plant.

• Describes the vessel’s environmental compliance plan and how it relates to the sewage waste-treatment plant;

• Ensures that the plan reflects proper sequences of actions are complete, and that it conforms to the directions and requirements of both the manufacturer’s instructions and ship’s procedures;

• Successfully puts into service and secures the sewage waste- treatment according to plan;

• Correctly describes the actions as they are being performed; and

• Takes proper action to prevent safety and pollution violations.
