the candidate lists in writing the reasons for requiring crew participation in training and drills.

The candidate correctly describes (or selects the answer that describes) at least 1 of the following reasons for requiring crew participation in training and drills:

  1. Prepares crew for any possible emergency;
  2. Repetition through drills allows for an immediate response to emergencies;
  3. Proper emergency procedures can save your life; or
  4. All crew members rely on each other to carry out their assigned duties during emergency situations.
